Description

Here is the famous Andromeda Galaxy. Once in a lifetime every astrophotographer has to capture this beautiful object I think (sometimes more often ). Therefore here is my first try on M 31. I am happy with the outcome especially because the processing was very fun. Also the Andromeda Galaxy is an important object in the history of humanity. This Galaxy showed us the path to the unimaginable vastness of space. In 1923 Edwin Hubble calculated the distance of a variable star called V1 or Hubble's Cepheid located in what was then thought to be a local nebula in the Milky Way. His results indicated that this star was so far away that he concluded that it could never be in our home galaxy.

All the best and CS everyone!
